exterior
The Citation® CJ4® jet redefines versatility for a light jet.
The CJ4 has added speed, range and cabin size over its predecessor without incurring midsize jet operating costs. The Collins Pro Line 21™ avionics suite allows a single pilot to safely and effectively operate the CJ4. Features such as single point refueling, an externally serviceable lavatory and excellent range deliver what crew and cabin passengers appreciate.
wings
The leading edge of the CJ4 wing features a 15.454 degree sweep with the the trailing edge sweep at -0.411 deg. The wing’s airfoils are designed to optimize performance at each station of the wingspan. A subtle concave hollow ahead of the trailing edge further cuts drag, especially during climb.
soaring good looks
When designing the CJ4, our engineers moved the main landing gear inboard, reducing the track. A narrower track makes all aspects of ground handling smoother. The same long-stroke, trailing-link landing gear common to all CJs guarantees the softest landings and smooth taxiing.
interior
Everything you need to remain productive and comfortable is provided in the cabin of the CJ4. With the CJ4’s revolutionary Venue™ Cabin Management System (CMS), passengers can plug their computer into their seat monitor and enjoy an ergonomic, high-resolution working environment.
The Citation CJ4 outshines competing light jets on cabin amenities alone. Six deep-cushioned, wide leather seats articulate in three directions and can be configured to fully recline for long, comfortable trips. Each features a patented retractable armrest with available lumbar support and seat-side media docks.
Passengers will relax on long flights in a 58-inch-wide cabin with temperature controls separate from the cockpit. With WiFi and high-definition technology, the Rockwell Collins Venue™ high-definition integrated cabin management system distributes entertainment and productivity in flight.
The Citation CJ4 offers spacious, productive club seating for six. Choose either the standard side-facing seat or the two-place couch for additional seating. This Citation is designed to fly its full range in absolute comfort and convenience, including an aft lavatory with a belted seat. With generous external baggage compartments holding up to 1,040 pounds of cargo, never leave anything at home.
avionics
The pilot-friendly flight deck features category-leading technology and ergonomic enhancements centered around the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21™ avionics suite.
Added safety and navigation technology include weather tracking with the Rockwell Collins MultiScan system and a standard Enhanced Ground Proximity warning system.
The CJ4’s avionics suite combines category-leading technology with ergonomic enhancements and extreme user friendliness. Our engineers designed the CJ4 flight deck, powered by Collins Pro Line 21, from extensive research into how pilots interface with technology. The result is improved piloting with simple operations and significantly reduced workload.
navigating weather
Standard CJ4 capability includes enhanced weather tracking via the Rockwell Collins RTA-4112 MultiScan™ Weather Radar system. Pilots can use this solid-state radar system to detect weather systems and navigate around them to minimize turbulence. Short, mid and long-range weather detection is included with multiple radar scans at preselected tilt angles. At any altitude or range, the system displays an optimized weather picture for the pilot.
