SBAS is a satellite receiver that utilizes the signals coming from Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite constellation and satellite-based augmentation system (SBAS).  Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) is one example of SBAS.  It also support EGNOS, MSAS and GAGAN to the extent they are compatible with WAAS.

These are GPS receiver CCAs designed and conformed to meet the requirements of US FAA TSO C145c and intended to be embedded in various avionics products produced by other manufacturers.  Their primary function is to provide aircraft position, aircraft velocity and precise time and provide the output to the host system, such as a transponder.

Part numbers 11000 and 11001 share common hardware. Both have SMA-type antenna connector and a 14 pin dual row connector for all other input/output. Part number 11000 supports the RS-232-based NexNav Binary and NMEA 0183 interface protocols. Part number 11001 supports the RS-232 based Accord Binary and NMEA 0183 interface protocols.

Part numbers 12000 and 12001 share common hardware. Both have MCX-type antenna connector and a 14 pin dual row connector for all other input/output. Part number 12000 supports the RS-232-based NexNav Binary and NMEA 0183 interface protocols. Part number 12001 supports the RS-232 based Accord Binary and NMEA 0183 interface protocols.

All conform to the functional requirements of RTCA DO-229D, Change 1 forWAAS  Class Beta 1 articles and all are authorized US FAA TSO C204 and meet the requirements of US FAA Advisory Circular 20-165B for ADS-B GPS source.
