AFD provides Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT), stall/spin, Aerobatics, Tailwheel training, and formation training.
We provide customized academics and flight training in order to give each pilot the appropriate training needed to achieve their goals.
Our UPRT courses are in compliance with the Airplane Upset Recovery Training Aid - Revision 2 which is published by the FAA and leading aviation industry companies.
Our mission at AFD is to provide the best specialty flight training possible. Reducing the number of Loss of Control Inflight (LOC-I) mishaps, the number one cause of airplane fatalities, is at the top of our priority list. Additionally, we seek to make better all-around pilots through increased "stick-and-rudder" and aeronautical decision making skills.
