As part of the training for both the National Private Pilot's Licence and EASA Part FCL Private Pilots Licence you need to complete the same nine multiple choice exams.

All the multiple choice exams have a 75% pass mark. The total number of questions in each exam is between 16 and 30 dependant on the subject. For the EASA Part FCL Private Pilot's Licence there is a minimum of 12 days of ground school required, in our experience to study and practice for all nine exams will take a little longer than this. You need to take all nine exams within six sitting within a period of eighteen months, once completed the flight training element and final flight tests of your course must be completed within two years of the last exam. This is done via self-directed study, one on one ground school and small group lectures.
All study materials are available directly from our shop at competitive prices and are available in traditional book, CD/DVD and internet based formats. One on one ground school with our patient ground school instructor is available for any subject by the hour or per subject and with sufficient interest we also provide small group lectures. once you are ready to take an exam they are all done at our offices under the supervision of our friendly ground examiner.
