What is it?
A PPL is just that, a licence to fly an aircraft for private use. You can fly with passengers and in any aircraft type for which you are rated, but you cannot receive any form of remuneration for your efforts
Who is it for?
A PPL is for students who want to fly themselves, friends and family for pleasure. It is also the first step in the modular training route towards an Airline Transport Pilot Licence.
Step 2
COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENCE (CPL)
What is it?
A CPL is the minimum licence required to fly commercially, as a paid pilot. The type of aircraft you can fly and wher you can fly it depends on your aircraft class/type rating and the regulator issuing your licence.
*Pilots in the Middle East may need to undertake a simple licence conversion assessment with the relevant aviation regulator in their country.
Who is it for?
Students who wish to fly for scenic flights and charter, rescue, or aerial surveillance. It is also the second step in the modular training route for students working towards their Airline Transport Pilot Licence.
Step 3
MULTI-ENGINE PISTON CLASS RATING (MEP)
What is it?
A MEP is a class rating that enables you to fly twin engine aircraft. You will need to have an MEP to fly as a commercial airline pilot.
Who is it for?
This is the third step, in conjunction with the Night Qualification, for students working towards their Airline Transport Pilot Licence via a modular route.
NIGHT QUALIFICATION
What is it?
A Night Qualification is an endorsement that enables you to fly aircraft during hours of darkness. You will need to hold a Night Qualification to fly as an airline pilot.
Who is it for?
This is the third step, in conjunction with the MEP, for students working towards their Airline Transport Pilot Licence via a modular route.
Step 4
MULTI-ENGINE INSTRUMENT RATING
What is it?
A Multi-Engine Instrument Rating gives you the skills and experience you need to make approaches in poor weather and fly in Class A airspace.
Who is it for?
This is the fourth step in the modular training route for students working towards their Airline Transport Pilot Licence.
Step 5
MULTI-PILOT FOUNDATION JET COURSE
What is it?
The MPFJC is a theoretical and practical module covering the key knowledge and skills relevant to flying and operating a commercial jet. Our MPFJC is the equivalent of a Multi Crew Cooperation Course and Jet Orientation Course combined into the one module, with the added benefit of additional training hours.
Who is it for?
This is the final step for students working towards their Airline Transport Pilot Licence via a modular route.
