 On January 2, 1990, AOG Aircraft Service, Inc. was organized under the laws of the State of Florida. Mr. Kenneth C. Fick, a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, is the sole stockholder and president of the corporation. For four years, Mr. Fick gained invaluable experience and acquired a broad customer base as a business aircraft consultant at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport and has traveled to other airports throughout the U.S. and Europe.
In January of 1994 AOG Aircraft Service, Inc. opened the doors to its maintenance facility at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. Exactly one year later, The Federal Aviation Administration issued the corporation a Repair Station Certificate for Hawker and Citation.
In October of 1996, AOG Aircraft Service, Inc. was accepted by the Joint Aviation Authorities as a Repair Station of European Commonwealth Countries. Four months later, Mr. Fick purchased an FBO at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport and expanded his business to include Execuport International, a full-service FBO. Execuport International is a ten-acre facility with three hangars and provides Chevron Jet and Avgas fuels. In June, 1998, AOG opened an Aero Quality Aircraft NiCad Battery repair shop, which provides service to other repair stations throughout the entire Southeast.
In 2013 AOG elects to sell off its FBO business. Recognizing the need and potential, AOG focused on doubling the capacity and capabilities of the Battery Shop. AOG realigns its airframe maintenance to concentrate on just Hawker and Citation aircraft.
Since its inception, AOG Aircraft Service, Inc. has experienced stable and consistent growth. Now celebrating its twenty-six years in business. AOG has attained an exemplary reputation for customer service. It has a following of local customers as well as loyal customers throughout the U.S., South America, and Europe. A highly trained staff of dedicated, technicians, quality controllers, customer service representatives and a strong administrative base are a key to the AOG Aircraft Service, Inc. success. It is because of this success that AOG Aircraft Service, Inc. has been able to establish the financial security to continue to grow.
