Universal champion for ambitious pilots
This two‑seater is the top model of the SZD family of fiberglass composites. It combines the experience of 50 years of glider manufacturing with the latest advance in aerodynamics, design and ergonomics. The result satisfies experienced competition pilots as well as instructors and ambitious aerobatic pilots. The unique combination of extraordinary flight performance, safe and simple handling in all flying situations as well as a comfortable tandem cockpit with excellent visibility makes the PERKOZ the best in its class.
The PERKOZ has been designed according to CS‑22 regulations for aerobatic flying and has been approved for aerobatic flying as well as for the utility category. The version with attached wingtips has a span of 20 m and an extraordinary finesse L/D ratio of 42.
The rigging of the PERKOZ is simple, safe and fast due to the automatic controls. A hydraulic brake operated by a lever on the stick makes the landing save and free of stress.
