Instrument Rating (IR)
During the PPL and CPL training, you will learn to fly using visual references – but the ability to fly by instruments alone is mandatory for all airline, charter, and corporate pilots who invariably need to fly under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) in Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC).

The Instrument Rating can be completed on a PPL or CPL licence.

Our programme is designed to give students a maximum number of multi engine hours (22 – 24 hours) during their training with options for single engine and multi engine Instrument Ratings available.

Our Integrated IFR training programme utilises both Single Engine and Multi Engine aircraft to ensure your progress in the IFR environment is structured and manageable for all students. This courses ensures you are trained in all the modern and traditional nav aids, including GPS (Technically Enhanced), VOR, NDB and ILS.

We can design your IFR training to suit your individual requirements, to enhance your employment prospects.
