ATITECH S.p.A., a global provider of integrated aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services (MRO), has further extended its list of capabilities by receiving a Design Organization Approval n° EASA.21J.468 (Part 21, Subpart J) from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

The recognition by EASA confirms the high qualification of the development staff, the suitability of its comprehensive technical facilities and the implemented design assurance system at ATITECH S.p.A. Under the certificate terms of approval, the company is now fully authorized to design and approve minor changes to aircraft in the area of cabin interiors and its related structure. In particular with the DOA certification, EASA shall accept compliance documents submitted by ATITECH S.p.A. for a purpose of obtaining a Supplemental Type Certificates (STC) in the area of cabin interiors and its related structure.

As a result of these approvals ATITECH S.p.A. team specializes in design modification services tailored to customer requirements for:

Cabin interior changes including installation of LOPAs, reconfigurations, furnishings, monuments, interior equipment / fittings and integration of emergency escape path marking systems
Emergency equipment layouts
Placard installations
Cabin Interior upgrades
Passenger in-flight entertainment and communications
Galley equipment
Obtaining the DOA certification, ATITECH S.p.A confirms the build-up of new engineering services resulting in a lengthening of the value chain of the "core business" focused on the heavy maintenance, in order to consolidate its presence in the MRO market.
