Mitchell Williams formed Chickasha Wings, Inc. in 2003 to provide airplane rental and
flight instruction at Chickasha Airport in Chickasha, Oklahoma. After graduating from
Kansas State University in 1985, Mitch moved from Kansas to work for the power
company in Anadarko, Oklahoma. After he married his wife Stacy, she fulfilled her dream
of learning to fly. This was a continuance of a family legacy for Stacy, whose
grandfather flew an F-86 in Korea - the first jet fighter. Buying an airplane was the next
logical step for Mitch and Stacy. Mitch had to learn to fly too and earned his Private
Pilot Certificate. He went on to earn more ratings and became an instructor, an A&P
mechanic and an IA mechanic. Being involved in helping others realize their dreams of
flight was the final ingredient to an already perfect recipe.
With the goal of safe, low-cost training, the training fleet has expanded to two C-150s, a
C-172, a Piper Cherokee, a Piper Apache, and an Ercoupe-LSA. Using 2 full time and
