CHL is an independent company wher seventy years of experience are combined with state-of-the-art knowledge and equipment. CHL is committed to develop, design and produce small series of custom-built radar antenna systems and microwave sensors which are the best in their class.
Main activities
CHL’s radar antenna systems are mainly used for airports, VTS, coastal surveillance and can be built to specific customer requirements.
Moreover, we design and produce purpose-made microwave sensors as well as microwave components.
Our products are developed, designed and produced in-house by highly skilled employees, using state-of-the-art R&D facilities. Our know-how includes mechanical, electronic and microwave disciplines.
Collaboration
CHL joins forces with a number of institutions: for instance, the International Research Centre for Telecommunications and Radar (IRCTR) of the Delft University of Technology and the Dutch Antenna Range Operators. Furthermore, we participate in the Platform Nederland Radarland, in which the Royal Dutch Navy, TNO, Delft University, the Dutch Defence ministry and the ministry of Economic Affairs also take part. The Platform was established to co-ordinate the Dutch research and development activities in the fields of radar design, technology and systems.
