The Colt aviation was established in 1997 in Miami, USA, buying and selling parts for the aeronautical market. Since 2002, Colt Aviation began to offer management services, aircraft hangar, costumers services in Sao Paulo.
From 2006, also began operations in the city of Rio de Janeiro and it was certified by the FAA as an air taxi operator.
Nowadays, Colt Aviation is one of the three biggest aircraft charter operator companies in Brazil, it has a fleet operational with more than 20 aircrafts, between helicopter and airplanes, and also is the biggest operator of Learjet in the Latin america and has flown more than 12 million of miles without any air crash.The company is even authorized to air ambulance, it has a CRM (Conselho Regional de medicina) to certify the safety operation statement.
Colt Aviation operating in four differents airports around Brazil ( Congonhas, Jundiaí, Santos Dumont and Jacarepaguá), soon, they will debut others two branches customer service(Sorocaba e Galeão). The company has a concession to fly around the world, operating their services, keeping the highest level of International certificate of quality such as IS-BAO, ARG/US and WYVERN and, currently is the only company in Brasil to keep our faithfulness and Caborn offset program, ECOmiles.
