Permission for Commercial Operations
Crisp Aerial has the required permissions to operate within the limits set out by the CAA. Including to an altitude of 400ft (120m) and distance of 500m from takeoff point.
Qualified Pilots
Our Pilots have completed a National Qualified Entity UAV-specific course to demonstrate an understanding of the regulations (in particular the Air Navigation Order and Rules of the Air Regulations). This requires the necessary skills and knowledge to pass ground and flight exams.
Insurance
We have public liability insurance that covers the operation of any of our systems in the UK. We also have public indemnity and equipment protection should the worst occur.
Please be aware of companies that do not hold insurance for aerial work. SUA and UAV require specialist insurance that only a handful of companies provide. It is Law that any company operating commercially must carry the relevant insurance to operate.
