History
DAE Systems started as Dynamic-Air Engineering, incorporated in 1942 in Los Angeles, CA by Harry Glascock. Harry developed what is believed to be the first fan-forced airborne convection heater for the Army Air Corps in 1942. From these beginnings, Harry’s company established a reputation unsurpassed in providing custom, high reliability air management solutions. In 1964, the company headquarters moved from Los Angeles to wher it remains today in Orange County, CA.
Through out its history the company has remained in the family, which has fostered a culture wher customers and employees are treated as honored members of the extended family. After Harry Glascock died, his wife Nancy assumed control of the company full time. Nancy was assisted by her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Hugh Morrison, who took executive roles in day to day operations. Nancy retired in 1990, while Sharon and Hugh continued to grow the business. Jeremy Morrison, the son of Sharon and Hugh, joined the company in 1997 following his father’s death. Jeremy is now President of the company. Sharon continues today as our CEO. We are proud that both Jeremy and Sharon remain accessible to customers, ,suppliers and employees and have continued the family tradition in our company through three generations.
