This flight rating will enable you to fly the aircraft with little to no visibility, an airline industry standard. Gain a distinct advantage with the modern features in the Cirrus aircraft including; Multiple Moving Map Displays, Terrain and Traffic Warning Systems and XM weather.

IFR requirements are:

PIC Cross-Country Time: 50 hrs

Includes 40 hrs Instrument Training

Ground School Time: 30 hrs

Pass Instrument Written

After earning your IFR Certificate, you will fly confidently in clear or cloudy skies. You will also be eligible to begin your Commercial Pilot’s Certificate Program.
