The Donaldson Foundation only considers grant applications with an educational focus. Because making a difference in our communities is important to Donaldson, financial support is awarded to local or regional agencies and programs wher we live and work. All grant recipients must qualify for tax exemption by the IRS; a 501(c)3 will be required.
The Donaldson Foundation has two funding cycles. The first runs from August through January. Decisions for the first funding cycle are made in December with a payout in January. The second funding cycle runs from January through June with a payout in July. New proposals are accepted during the first three months of a funding cycle. Proposals received after the third month are pushed to the next funding cycle for consideration.
