One of our most acknowledged areas of expertise lies in aircraft maintenance.  Doss Aviation, Inc. has continually maintained military aircraft since first being awarded a contract to sustain fifty T-41 aircraft for the USAF Academy in 1975.  Our FAA-certified aircraft maintenance performance continues today with contracts supporting the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army.

Our aircraft maintenance experience ranges in scope from unit/field-level, intermediate-level, to limited depot-level maintenance and modification, turbine engine compressor and hot section repair, honeycomb and composite structural repair and alteration, main and tail rotor blade repairs, avionics maintenance, sheet metal fabrication, scheduled inspections and flight testing of aircraft coming out of extensive maintenance.

Doss Aviation, Inc. maintenance management activities encompass aircraft condition inspections to include pre-flight, post-flight and phase inspections, airframe and component repair and modifications, inspection and repair on associated GSE, maintenance-related test flights, avionics and electrical system maintenance, hydraulics system repair to include fabrication of lines and hoses, aircraft engine maintenance, environmental systems, corrosion control, non-destructive testing, and aircraft and component inspection requirements.

The company maintains four Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Part 145, Repair Station certifications.
