Ever daydream of flying while sitting in a classroom or office? Well, here's your chance to make a dream become reality! Since the Wright Brothers first powered flight on 17 December 1903, mankind's dream of taking to the skies has roared to life. Earning your Private Pilot License (PPL) is a stimulating and rewarding experience. Our passion is flying and everything related to Aerospace Education. Whether you want to approach aviation as a hobby, or you are looking to to develop a career as a pilot in the industry, we're here to help you meet your goals!
The AeroVenture Institute's Flight Training Center is focused upon giving our students
* the best flight instruction available in a relaxed yet professional training environment
* affordable aircraft maintained at the highest standards by in-house mechanics
* personable experienced flight instructors enthusiastic about passing on the legend of flight
* self-paced one-on-one training and interactive ground schools and seminars
In order to attain your Private Pilot certificate, we recommend students fly as often as possible — twice a week, for example. Although you can fly as often or as little as you like, flying more frequently will help you attain your certificate faster and save money in the end. Consistency is the key to your progression. We also recommend purchasing a flight simulator, or using the flight simulator available at the Flight Training Center. Simulators help with memory retention and allow you to sharpen your skills by practicing and reviewing the fundamentals of flight and the concepts you will be learning. This saves you money, ultimately making you more confident in the cockpit and a safer pilot.
