CPL (commercial pilot)
Course Objective
Commercial Pilot Certificate is a qualification that permits the holder to act as a pilot being remunerated. Once you hold the license you will be able to:
Act as a first officer in commercial air transportation.
Act as a pilot in command or first officer in any airplane for operations other than commercial air transportation.
Act as a pilot in command in commercial air transportation for any single pilot airplane.
Course elegibility requirements
· - Age: 18 years
· - First class medical certificate
· - Hold a PPL (A) license.
· - 150 hours of flight time, 50 of them as a pilot in command
· - Suficient level of knowledge of mathematics and physics
· - English language skills
Theoretical part
The trainee during the ground training will cover the following courses:
· Air law and ATC procedures
· Airframes, systems, electrics, power plant and emergency equipment
· Instrumentation
· Mass and balance
· Performance
· Flight planning and monitoring
· Human performance and limitations
· Meteorology
· General navigation
· Radio navigation
· Operational procedures
· Principles of flight
· VFR Communications
· IFR Communications
Practical part
At the end of the training, the trainee must have a minimum of:
· 15 flying hours
· 10 hours of them in a single engine.
· 5 hours in a multi engine.
