Welcome to California Flight Academy, San Diego’s best Private Pilot, Commercial Multi-Engine and Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) flight school. As an FAA approved school under part 141 and part 61, and an authorized Cessna Pilot Center, we assure you the highest standards of safety, comfort and quality education that you expect from a professional flight academy. Our fleet of meticulously maintained aircraft is serviced by our own dedicated and certified maintenance personnel, which has resulted in over 80,000 hours of flight time and no student injuries.
California Flight Academy focuses on student-centered learning delivered through dedicated career oriented staff, who offer you detailed, professional training in all phases of your aviation education and who genuinely care about your success.
We have programs that cater specifically to international students, including those who either already have a license from a different country or need to convert their license, or those students who have zero flight hours. For example, we provide an India-specific training program that meets the compliance requirements of the Directorate General Civil Aviation (DGCA) for students wishing to start their career in India. We also provide country-specific training to students from Taiwan, Mongolia, Indonesia, Turkey and the Middle East, Central and South America, various African countries, the U.S. and Canada, and many more. We will do everything in our power to help you make a smooth transition to the beautiful city of San Diego for your flight training as many students will be far from home. We will provide housing, forms for visas and all the help that you need to feel comfortable in the USA. The city of San Diego has beautiful beaches, wonderful weather, and many great attractions: Balboa Park, Coronado Island, Legoland, Midway Museum (Aircraft carrier), San Diego Air & Space Museum, San Diego Animal Park, San Diego Zoo, Sea World and many more attractions. It is not only a great place to live, but a near-perfect place to complete flight training due to the ideal climate and flying conditions.
