Gateway Aviation's Mission

Gateway Aviation is the Lehigh Valley's answer to flight training.Located at the Queen City Airport (KXLL) in Allentown, Pennsylvania. We offer top quality flight training from the first hour toward your Private Pilot license to your Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Multi-Engine Pilot's certificate. Queen City Airport provides the ideal airport with low commercial traffic, a controlled practice area and is located just minutes from Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE).

Gateway Aviation is the school for you. Gateway is a FAA Part 141

Certified Flight School, with ties to college program allowing students to get a degree while fulfilling their flight requirements with Gateway Aviation. If pleasure flying is your ticket, we can also accommodate all of your needs with our FAA Part 61 programs.

What can you do with your Private Pilot License? Gateway rents all of its aircraft to any certified pilot after a rental checkout. once you are able to rent the options are limitless. Whether it’s a quick trip to Atlantic City for dinner or a few days at the Oshkosh Airshow in Wisconsin, we will work to accommodate your trip, IFR and "overnights" are allowed with approval.

Need Pilot Supplies? Gateway has rapidly growing pilot shop selling everything from the basic logbook, to textbooks, to headsets. If there is something we don’t have we will try to get it in ASAP without the shipping costs.
