General requirements include:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to read, speak and understand English
Must hold at least a second-class medical examination administered by an FAA designated doctor
Pass a written exam, consisting of multiple choice questions, with a score of 70% or better
Finishing Requirements include:
Hold an Instrument Rating
A MINIMUM of 250 flight hours, including the following:
100 hours of PIC including
50 hours in airplane
10 hours in a complex airplane
50 hours of cross-country
5 hours of night flying, including 10 takeoffs and landings
10 hours of instruction in preparation for commercial pilot flight test
