Detailed Description
The PB4Y-2 was a multi-purpose aircraft developed during the latter part of WWII, seeing action through the 1950s. Initially designed as a patrol bomber, it performed numerous other duties including "Firefly" night illumination missions in Korea; the Privateer even served as a hurricane-hunter reconnaissance aircraft in the late 1940s.
Made of Philippine mahogany, this beautifully hand-painted and hand-crafted 1/65 scale model measures 13¼" long with a 20" wingspan, and arrives ready to display on the included stand.
