Detailed Description
No. 23 in the Oxford Diecast series of 1/72 scale, die cast warplanes, this model replicates a Gloster Gladiator Mk.II - the Royal Air Force's last biplane fighter - that flew with "B" Flight, 615 Squadron, when the unit was based at Saint Inglevert, France, during the early part of 1940.
It features textured surfaces that simulate the wood-and-fabric construction of the original, a detailed cockpit with a glazed canopy (the RAF's first), four fuselage- and wing-mounted machine guns, and authentic markings. 5¼" wingspan; includes a display stand that identifies the plane and unit.
