Detailed Description
The UH-1 Iroquois "Huey" was used in a variety of roles - including battlefield ambulance, search-and-rescue, and transport - throughout the Vietnam War, but it is most memorable for its services as a gunship. Outfitted with rockets, grenades and machine guns, the Huey became the U.S.' ultimate Vietnam War weapon!
Resembling a UH-1C, which was specifically designed as a gunship, flown by the 174th Assault Helicopter Company "Sharks" in 1970 Vietnam, this 1/48 scale, plastic model replica features textured surfaces; a detailed cockpit with clear windows; movable rotors; realistic skid landing gear; an olive drab paint scheme with authentic markings, including "shark's mouth" nose art; and more. 11¼" long with a 12" rotorspan; arrives ready to display.
