A replica of an F4F Wildcat - a late-production variant of the F4F outfitted with a powerful Wright R-1820 engine and a taller tail to cope with the added torque - flown off the USS Petrof Bay (CVE-80) with VC-93 in 1945, this 1/72 scale, plastic model airplane features textured surfaces; a single-seat cockpit with a glazed canopy; a rotating propeller; extended landing gear; authentic markings, including a shamrock on the right wing and tail; and more. 6¼" wingspan; arrives ready to display on the included stand.
