The test cell was designed and sized for testing a wide variety of high bypass turbo fan engines up to 130,000 lbs thrust over the full range of validation and certification requirements.
Key Test Systems include:
"U" tube type test facility design with intake and
exhaust stack
Thrust frame
Monorail, hoist and docking system
Fuel and electric system
Air start system
Hydraulic Lift platform
Engine test control room
In addition, the test cell facility is equipped with OEM developed engine compressor wash capability for restoration of engine performance and efficiency without the requirement for engine or module strip.
