IAI-CAG has extensive experience with composite materials for the whole range of aerospace products and technologies, including the development of lower cost out of Autoclave manufacturing processes such as Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) and Liquid Resin Infusion (LRI).
IAI-CAG invests extensively in R&D, in order to maintain its competitive edge. In addition to internally and nationally funded programs, IAI is heavily involved in International R&D Programs. Products of some of these programs have included the improvement of IAI capabilities in areas including structural bonding, RTM and LRI.
Furthermore, IAI-CAG has enhanced various manufacturing areas such as ply cutting, ply lay-up, autoclave control, 5 axis water-jet trimming and computer controlled ultrasonic and x-ray non-destructive testing via automation.
