Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has operated in the domestic and international markets since 1947. During this period Ingosstrakh grew from a modest department of the USSR Ministry of Finance into a reputable company with a developed regional network. It is currently the largest federal insurance company and one of the leaders of the national insurance market for insurance premium volume, insurance indemnity amount and according to key balance sheet figures.

Good business standing of Ingosstrakh was confirmed by the Russian rating agency Expert RA, which reaffirmed Ingosstrakh’s highest financial stability rating at A++. For the first time the company received such rating in 2002. The company alsohas the rating of international rating agency “Standard&Poor’s”.

Ingosstrakh has remained the leader of the national market during its whole history; the company has succeeded in the field of client relations, gaining the trust of millions of individual clients and tens of thousands of companies. Today the clients of our insurance company are major industrial enterprises, foreign trade organizations, transport and trading companies, banks, and representative offices of transnational organizations. Most of them have been cooperating with the insurer for several years.

Licenses to provide all types of insurance and reinsurance specified in the Russian Federation Law On Insurance in the Russian Federation allow the company to provide comprehensive protection of financial interests of its clients.

Ingosstrakh provides the full range of insurance services, including property insurance, voluntary medical insurance, motor obligatory third party liability insurance, motor voluntary third party liability insurance and hull insurance, child insurance, travel insurance, comprehensive servicing of corporate clients (property, reputation, liability and business insurance, pension programs).

Thanks to its high financial stability, the significant amount of own funds and reliable reinsurance programs, Ingosstrakh is responsible to its clients for the whole amount of possible losses. The company’s reinsurance partners include leading international companies: Allianz, AXA, CCR, Gen Re, Hannover Re, Lloyd’s syndicates, Munich Re, Partner Re, QBE, SCOR, Swiss Re, Transatlantic Re, XL Re etc.

Ingosstrakh’s services are available everywher in the Russian Federation thanks to its wide regional network, which includes 83 branches. The Company’s offices operate in 220 Russian cities. Moreover, Ingosstrakh holds shares in companies operating in the CIS and foreign countries. INGO international insurance group includes the companies in which Ingosstrakh holds at least a 50% share. Currently 8 companies abroad and 9 companies within Russian Federation are members of INGO.

Five representative offices of Ingosstrakh operate in the CIS and foreign countries. The Company’s offices operate in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, India and China.

Ingosstrakh insurance company plays an important role in the Russian insurance segment. It is a permanent member of a series of Russian insurers' associations and participates actively in the development of laws aimed at improving the legal base of the national insurance segment. In the course of its activity, Ingosstrakh received many prizes and awards. In April 2010, Ingosstrakh won “BRAND OF THE YEAR/EFFIE-2009” contest. In June 2009Ingosstrakh won the award Financial Elite of Russia in the nomination “Grand Prix: Insurance Company of the Year”. In May 2009Ingosstrakh won the “Golden Salamander” prize in the main category “Insurance company of 2008” and the category “Informational transparent company of the year”. In 2008 the company won the award in the nomination “Quality of Insurance services 2007”. In April 2009 Ingosstrakh won another award “Financial Olympus – 2008”. In the summer 2008, Ingosstrakh was awarded the Prize “Glory of the nation” and a diploma in the category “Gold”, in December - won the national prize in the sphere of business “Company of the Year” and national award “Atlanta Business 2008”.

Ingosstrakhis the only Russian insurer, which enters for 4 straight years the rank of most valuable brands of Russia. As well as, it is the fourth straight time, when the company becomes the laureate of the “Expert-400” in the category of “Informational transparency”. In addition, Ingosstrakh is the winner of the “Financial press-club” contest in the rank “The most informational transparent insurance company” (platinum diploma) and the laureate the Prize “Financial Elite of Russia” in the nomination “The most reliable insurance company”. Ingosstrakh has received a diploma “Enterprise of high management of thefinancial activity - 2007”. Ingosstrakh is a minority shareholder with 33% share.
