Commencing operations in the late 1980's, JETPOINT rapidly became a popular maintenance facility for the south-east Queensland region. Founded by engineer Simon Whitehead, JETPOINT originally based itself at Coolangata airport on Queensland Gold Coast.
JETPOINT has constantly supported private and commercial operators including several busy charter operators and flying training schools.
Due to opportunities, the company found itself moving into specialist areas such as full painting and interior restoration, avionics installations, homebuilt projects and warbird support.
Jetpoint also specialises in construction of custom camera mounts and geo-survey equipment.
Being at the location of Australian movie making elite, JETPOINT has been involved in the preparation of aircraft and props for many motion picture movies.
The company is wholly Australian owned and controlled.
