The company Aircraft Door Seals was founded because of a true love of Aviation. Our staff combines that love with 92 years aviation experience in flight, repairs, sales, ownership, refurbishment, design, and test. In every aspect of that experience we saw again and again that door seals of general aviation aircraft leak air and water into the cabin, and contribute to high noise levels inside the cockpit during flight.
We knew there must be a better material for a door seal than the old quarter-round sponge-rubber seal that has been in use since the 1940’s by all aircraft manufacturers.
