Established in 2010 by Karel Van Der Linden and his wife, Mari-Elena, Fly High Lexington is proud to serve Davidson County and the cities of Lexington and Thomasville.
Karel who will run the operational team brings more than 25 years of experience in financial and operational management gained in diverse accounting, aviation, Fixed base Operations, hotels and casinos. Most recently Karel served Mercury Air Centers, a collection of 30 Fixed base Operations as Vice President, Corporate Controller and Officer. He was also Vice President, Finance and Interim Manager for Air Aruba, N.V.
Mari-Elena oversees the marketing and public relations efforts brings more than 20 years in sales and marketing mainly within the hospitality industry. She currently serves as Director of Island Spice, Inc. a sales and marketing firm representing a collection of upscale resorts in the Caribbean. Karel and Mari-Elena are joined by their daughter, Kareline, and their two sons, Alexander and Brandon.
