Lufthansa Technik has picked up the trend at an early stage and adapted its portfolio to cover these aircraft types as well. The MRO provider offers a whole suite of services for the Q400, ranging from line and base maintenance, modifications, component and engine services to engineering support, logistics and AOG services. Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey is a top address for maintaining the PW150 engines.
Component expertise and pools worldwide
The Component Services division of Lufthansa Technik already supports several Q400 operators worldwide. A dedicated team processes all tasks ranging from materials planning and control up to optimization and customer support. Additionally, Lufthansa Technik has installed a home base pool abroad for individual customers with Line Replaceable Units (LRU) in storage for smooth operation.
Combined engineering competence
Taking advantages of the available resources within the Lufthansa group, Lufthansa Technik and Tyrolean Airways have started a cooperation covering all aspects of the Part M support for the Bombardier Q400.
