I’ve been instructing since March 2010 and I have over 1200 hours of flight instruction time. I am an FAA Gold Seal instructor which means that I have passed a high percentage of my students on their first attempt for a certificate or rating, 92% to be exact. The thrill of flying for the first time is gone for me but I get to live that excitement through my students which is what keeps me coming back to the airport every day.
