This ½ Hr Robinson R44 Helicopter Tactical Lesson is conducted in a 4 seat helicopter (instructor + 3 People) at The Flight Academy City Airport Manchester. It allows you to experience the thrill of flying a helicopter, Navigating and observing and will even count as the first step towards your Private Pilot's Licence.
The lesson will begin with a briefing which will explain all aspects of the flight including the effects of the controls and how a helicopter flies followed by a 20 Minute flight conducted by an approved Helicopter Training Instructor. The lesson will be split into 3 separate flights of 6-7 Minutes each, giving you the opportunity to observe, navigate and pilot the helicopter.
The lesson is shared with up to two other enthusiasts, taking turns to experience all 3 parts of the lesson.
This flying lesson will give you an insight into the thrills of flying a helicopter and you will receive a certificate signed by our instructor and have the opportunity for photos and take refreshments in the Flight Academy after the lesson. The lesson can be taken at any time that suits the recipient and the flying school, and is within weather operating limits. The voucher is valid for 12 months.
