The Syrian Cham Wings airline wants to start direct Damascus-Belgrade flights in June, the Aviatica portal reported on Monday.
Cham Wings has applied for a permit to fly to Belgrade three times a week to the Serbian aviation authorities as of June 1.
The company is planning to fly between the Serbian and Syrian capitals on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays using an Airbus A320, Aviatica said.
Cham Wings said on its web site that it was set to open new lines but did not mention Belgrade. The Nikola Tesla airport web site does include Damascus International Airport as a destination but does not provide specific flight information up to the end of October this year.
Cham Wings has regular flights from Damascus to several Middle Eastern countries.
