The Pulse-nHD cabin management and in-flight entertainment system is fully digital and highly scalable. Our smallest Interconnect device, or system hub, provides 6 device connections. Our 24 port system hubs, however, can be trunked together to provide enough device connections for any size aircraft. Touchscreen interface panels and a WiFi system connection for personal electronics give passengers the ability to control Pulse-nHD cabin settings from a variety of devices.
Multimedia sources are introduced into the system via Source Equipment Adapter modules. The preferred input signal is HDMI, but other options are supported as well. Our in-flight entertainment system is fully HDCP compliant and will accept any HDMI signal as an input (including encrypted HDMI signals from consumer electronic equipment). Audio/Video signals are re-encoded onto our system databus and made available to any multimedia-enabled client connected to the system. Multimedia clients include Touchscreen Interface Panels, HD Monitors, Display Equipment Adapters, and Audio Amplifiers.
Each Pulse-nHD product has been designed from the ground up with weight and power consumption in mind. Mid Continent Controls provides some of the smallest, lightest, most efficient, high-performance products available in the industry today. Everything has been designed in-house, which means that we can offer an ease of customization that many others will not. Click here for our advertising data sheet on the Pulse-nHD system.
