These bulbs can be used to replac your existing 28W nav light bulbs including Whelen W1290, Grimes A7512-12, Rapco WL1512, AML7512, UA1512, and several others. Tail light bulb can be used to replac any standard bulb with a BAY15S base. No wiring changes are necessary. Turn on the switch and they light up in a constant mode. Quickly turn off and back on again and they switch to a strobe mode. Strobe mode does not meet the anti-collision light requirements for night use, but they do meet the nav light requirements day or night and the strobe mode increases the ability to see them during the day. They are auto voltage sensing so they can be used on either 12V or 24V systems.
