Management and organisation

The main themes of corporate responsibility are based on stakeholder feedback. Measures and objectives have also been defined for the development of operations in the desired direction. There are four main themes; Good partner, Good employer, Ethical Conduct and Environment. Each theme has appointed persons to develop that particular area.

Corporate responsibility matters are discussed by the Group Board of Management and regularly reported to the Board of Directors. Board of Directors' Audit Committee has an overall control and focus on compliance and ethics questions.

Human Resources is managed by Vice President, HR, reporting to the Chief Administration Officer who is a member of the Group Board of Management. Business units are represented by HR managers in a Group-wide HR team headed by Vice President, HR. Environmental management responsibility lies on business units and their appointed organisations reporting to the business unit Management Groups. Business unit Presidents are mainly members of Patria Board of Management.

In addition to the laws and regulations, there are Patria’s corporate guidelines, such as Ethical Code of Conduct, Human Resources Policy, Equality plan, Public relations and sponsorship guidelines, Business Partner Selection guidelines Environmental Policy, Information Security Policy, Patria in the Social Media, Corporate Security Policy, Risk Management and Internal Control and Guidelines on related parties’ transactions. In addition to these there are even more detailed guidelines and common processes a Group-wide operating system.
