Propel Designs is a full-service industrial design company that works with clients to guide ideas both big and small from concept to production.
Propel Designs was created in 2000 under the vision and expertise of David Shumate. David is a graduate of both the University of Washington in Seattle and ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California. He has worked with Bayliner Marine, Kia, BMW Designworks (Los Angeles area), and BMW automotive studio (Munich, Germany). While at Designworks, David successfully designed exteriors and interiors for BMW automobiles, Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks, and Carver yachts, as well as interiors for Airstream and Fleetwood RVs.
David's design background is primarily in automotive surface development and ergonomics. He applies these skills to design and develop visually stimulating, user-friendly transportation and consumer products.
Propel Designs has most recently worked with such companies as Piper Aircraft, Honda Aircraft, nLight, and Maxwell Technologies.
