Route 66 Aviation LLC is a family owned/operated business with a desire to help people realize their dreams of learning to fly. In 1996 after years of desiring to fly, my wife encouraged me to start flying. Shortly afterward, we were blessed with the opportunity and ability to do just that. During those years while earning private pilot, commercial, multi-engine, and flight instructor ratings, I met and was trained by several selfless, patient, and encouraging people. I have never forgotten that. Route 66 Aviation LLC started out as a venture to teach family and a few friends but soon we were approached by other people with a desire to learn to fly. From there, we decided to help others achieve their aviation goals. It has been my experience that aviation is unique by virtue of the people willing to help newcomers. A tradition well worth continuing.
When asked “What we do”: The answer is to provide the best flight training in Amarillo. More importantly, is “How we do it”: We treat every student with respect and encouragement, provide safe and affordable training, and ensure that each student enjoys their training.
