Saltair Aircraft located at the Hickory Regional Airport (KHKY), is situated at the base of the foothills giving the aviation enthusiast and experienced flyer the ultimate experience in flight training.
We offer training in the Piper Archer III, Remos GX, and CubCadet (Tailwheel). havin diversity in our planes whether you want yoke, or stick and rudder training, we have the plane to suit you.
Our group of instructors are ready to start you at the Light Sport level up to the experience of Instrument rating and more. Full training including preflight to postflight gives you the total experience to have Saltair Aircraft meet your needs. Additional instructions are available with our weekly night Ground School, as well as extra endorsements such as Mountain flying and Tailwheel.
