ICAO 051 ATC BASIC TRAINING COURSE
Course description
Theoretical training on Air Traffic Control subjects (Aviation Law, Equipments and Systems, Meteorology, etc.) required for specific courses of: Aerodrome Control (ICAO 052), Non-Radar Approach Control (ICAO 053), Radar Approach Control (ICAO 054), Radar Area Control (ICAO 054) and Non-Radar Area Control (ICAO 055).
Course objective
This course has been designed to provide a general introduction to the Air Traffic Services, as well as the specific knowledge and technical procedures of ATC Services as a basic background for any further rating training.
Audience
People interested in the Air Traffic Controller profession.
Prerequisites
General training in areas of interest for the subsequent assimilation of the course contents (such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Aviation Technology, Air Navigation Basics, Aerodynamics and Flight Mechanics).
Students must be over 18 years old.
A high level of English is necessary (ICAO level 4 recommended).

6 weeks (6 hours per day).

Face-to-face training either at SENASA’s headquarters in Madrid (Spain) or at the client's facilities.
