Simplex's Aerial Cleaning and De-Icing System for power lines and windmills is composed of a high-strength, low-weight composite water tank and high-pressure spray boom. The Aerial Cleaning and De-Icing System represents the third generation of aerial cleaning equipment delivering superior performance and value to helicopter operators and power utility providers. Routine cleaning of powerlines and insulators has been shown to significantly enhance power transmission and generation. The Aerial Cleaning and De-Icing System is currently FAA STC'd for the Bell 407 and AS350 (H125) & 355 series.
Training is also available from Simplex in system installation and maintenance, and mission training for flight, boom operation and ground coordination.
