Sky-Bound Ground prepares you for flight training while teaching you to be safe in the air. It is not just about passing the test, or getting you into an airplane as quickly as possible. We believe you should be proficient in the basics before you fly. We’ll teach you to understand the airplane inside and out, manage risk, plan, communicate, navigate correctly - all to help you fly safely and efficiently.
The basic Sky-Bound Ground private pilot course includes all of the FAA-required knowledge areas, plus theoretical background, case studies, lessons learned, handouts, exercises and a heavy dose of common sense. The instrument course can be supplemented with up to 10 hours on our FAA-approved PC aviation training device that can count toward your required flight training for the instrument rating.
