As the Aviation needs of our clients have grown in scope and complexity over the years Volans Aircraft Management, LLC (VAM), a division of the Southern Cross Aviation Group, was formed. VAM provides Aircraft Management, Delivery, Charter, Operations, and Flight Support.
We provide every aircraft owner with a customized turnkey management program wher the owner (company, trust, or private individual) retains full control of their aircraft. VAM operates with strict privacy and confidentiality as a flight operations department and manages the aircraft in the owner’s best interest.
The services rendered under Volans Aircraft Management Agreement include: in-house international and domestic flight planning and scheduling, flight crew staffing, line operations, RVSM and operational certification, maintenance services and hangarage for the aircraft, along with insurance, accounting and administrative services.
VAM, through our partnership with a third party Argus Platinum rated AOC holder, can assist with placing the aircraft on an AOC and making it available for third party charter usage.
With over two decades of experience under our belt, VAM has the capabilities to assist with worldwide aircraft bases of operation. We currently operate aircraft registered or based in regions around the world, including the United States, South America, Europe, and Asia.
VAM is large enough to achieve substantial reductions in expense items, such as significant savings on fuel, insurance and handling (FBO) costs, crew accommodation and more. At the same time, we are small and flexible enough that we are able to always guarantee a personalized service and the ability to customize our offerings to your particular preferences or requirements.

Volans Aircraft Management works with CAE, a world leader in providing simulation and modeling technologies and training solutions, as our primary pilot and maintenance training services supplier. Through your Management Agreement, VAM accommodates turnkey training for pilots and maintenance technicians at a significant discount- 15% to 30% below the industry average.
VAM assists your maintenance supervisor in obtaining multiple bids for necessary major maintenance providers. Our objective recommendation to you as to which provider’s bid to selec will be based on a combination of price and schedule, to insure optimal pricing and minimal disruption of your travel schedule.
To avoid economic conflicts of interest with our clients, we do not sell fuel, maintenance, crew services, or services required to operate your business aircraft. We are always your advocate, for savings as well as service. We believe our fixed monthly services fee structure most closely aligns our interests with yours and established a clear fiduciary relationship.
Each month the dedicated Volans Aircraft Management Team prepares aircraft financial reports, tracking all owner flight activity, expenditures (and charter activity and revenue if applicable).
