CP-UAS (Commercial Pilot – Unmanned Aircraft Systems)
The commercial operation of unmanned aircrafts is booming. An increasing number of commercial sectors, not just the film and media industry but also the technical industry make use of this technology. However, without proving the ability to handle your aircraft safely, authorities may refrain from granting flight permissions. The requirements made on commercial pilots are growing.
Our training programme CP-UAS is perfectly suited for future commercial pilots of unmanned aircrafts.
In a comprehensive training programme, you will obtain a broad knowledge of theory and practice to safely operate the UAVs. Together with professional pilots and trainers, you will obtain knowledge of all legal and technical regulations providing you a certain degree of confidence. In this respect, you benefit from the tremendous experience of our pilots, who not only have an extensive foundational knowledge but are also glad to show you some practical tricks.
The course fee is 1,200.00 € plus VAT.

Theory
In the theoretical training section you will obtain a comprehensive introduction to all operating conditions of the aircraft

- Sensors, control and flight physics
- Flight modes
- UAV technology
- Meteorology
- Aviation law and permissions for the commercial operation of an unmanned aircraft system
- General and specific flight rules
- Safety instructions, flight checks and risk assessments
- Emergency manoeuvre
Practice
In the practical section you will receive comprehensive instructions how to handle the aircraft. For this purpose it doesn’t matter whether you are already experienced or if you are a beginner

- Flight exercise: starting and landing
- Flight exercise: flight manouvres
- Flight exercise: flying a special course

- GPS failure
- Loss of orientation

Examination
The course is concluded with a brief theoretical and practical examination, wher you demonstrate your understanding of flying and handing your unmanned aircraft. After you have successfully completed your test you will receive a relevant certificate of completion, which will pave the way for obtaining the official permission to take-off.
