To be eligible for your certificate you must:
Be at least 18 years of age
Hold at least a Private Pilot Certificate
Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
Hold an FAA issued medical certificate
Be proficient in previous flight experience
Pass a knowledge test (CATS)
Pass a practical test (a one-on-one oral quiz and flight test with an FAA designated examiner)
Minimum flight training requirements
250 hours total flight experience, of which:
100 hours Pilot in Command time, including:
50 hours Cross Country time as Pilot in Command
20 hours with your instructor, including:
10 hours in a Complex Airplane
10 hours instrument training (or already hold an Instrument Rating)
