The classic yellow PIPER J-3 CUB is America's all-time favorite light plane! The light wing loading, hands-off stability, and forgiving flight characteristics that made the Cub so popular with full-scale pilots are also ideal for model builders. The Cub design is nearly perfect for R/C flying - making a beautiful scale model that is easy to fly. This is the all-time classic Cub kit originally designed by Chuck Hollinger over 40 years ago. The kit features built-up balsa construction for a strong structure without excess weight. Very realistic in flight!

NOTE: The dummy engine, laminated prop, and opening door on the Cub pictured above are not included in the kit. Modeler Charles Viosca built this superior example from the kit and added those extra scale details himself.
