AIRPLANE PILOT SCHOOL

There are many exciting careers in Aviation. From becoming an Airline Pilot to an Alaskan bush pilot, the adventure of operating an aircraft for a living excites the imagination in all of us.

No matter what aircraft or career your final goal is, the starting point for all future pilots is the same: Flight Training.  So you’re in the right place!  Upper Limit Aviation is an FAA Part 141 approved pilot school, offering courses of training under both CFR Part 61 and Part 141.

In addition to being an FAA Part 141 flight training school, Upper Limit also has unique relationships with institutions of higher learning so that our students can experience world-class flight training as part of a standard college degree. ULA encourages students to invest in their entire career by achieving a degree along with flight training. You won’t find that anywher else.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET A PILOT CERTIFICATE?

The answer to that question depends on your goals. If you are interested in gaining a Private Pilot Certificate for non-commercial purposes then the minimum requirements are 40 hours, you must pass a written exam and a flight test.

If you can dedicate yourself, the requisite flight hours may take only a few months. Some of our students need to spread their training out because of busy schedules or financial restraints and the process takes longer to complete. ULA can be as flexible or as aggressive as you wish to be.

If you are interested in pursuing a career in aviation then the program we recommend is about 18-20 months long. You also have the option of enrolling in a two-year program with our higher education affiliate and earning an Associates Degree while you get your flight training. For more information call our Student Service Team at 844-iFLYEDU

HOW MUCH DOES THE PROGRAM COST?

A Private Pilot license in Fixed-Wing will cost you 7-10K, and Rotor-Wing will cost 16-18K. Upper Limit Aviation is an affordable flight school with connections to aviation funding sources that can help you finance your pilot certificates. We are dedicated to helping as many folks as possible who are committed to earning a commercial pilot certificate. Our financial lending associations may be able to provide you the necessary funding to help you meet your career goals.

IS THERE FINANCIAL AID AVAILABLE?

The short answer is yes. The long answer is: there are several types of financial aid that ULA can help you acquire to fund your schooling.
